Crystal Chick

Crystal Chick grew up in a small town in Eastern Colorado and graduated from Western State College of Colorado in Gunnison. Her passion for the outdoors and love of wildlife led her to an 18 year career with Colorado Parks and Wildlife. She retired from her wildlife career as an Area Wildlife Manager, supervising Wildlife Officers covering the six county Denver Metro Area. During her time as a Wildlife Officer, Crystal realized her true passion was serving others. She also realized she had a real talent for managing the unexpected and adjusting to constant changes. Crystal is a planner and organized by nature.

Crystal loved her wildlife career but she was ready to leave the big city and take on a new adventure. Her desire to raise her children in a smaller community is what brought the Chick family to Durango and led Crystal to her second career as a Real Estate Broker.

Crystal and her husband, Cory, have two children who love to do it all. From baseball and gymnastics to skiing and jiu-jitsu, the Chicks never lack for something to do. However, they always make sure they find time to explore all Durango has to offer for unstructured play as well. As a family, they enjoy pretty much everything outdoors, gardening, fishing, hiking and hunting are among their favorites.

Crystal has represented sellers and buyers in the sale of single-family homes, condos and land in La Plata and Archuleta Counties. She has designations as an Accredited Buyer's Representative and a Resort and Second Home Property Specialist but she absolutely loves working with first-time home buyers.

Crystal is driven by a desire to serve others and is motivated by challenge. She will work hard to make the home buying or selling process as stress free as possible for you.
